After going to the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile this weekend I decided to start a travel/whatever I want blog! What else am I going to do in Newport till I graduate?

I decide to kick off this blog with mine and my mom's trip to the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile in Pawhuska, OK.

This is the front of the store and where we ate FOUR separate times! (I'll do a separate post on the food!)

First off, WOW. The Pioneer Woman has completely transformed this town. Most of the stores around the Mercantile have only been open a few months. They get an average of 6,000 people a day!!! The town itself is less than 4,000.

My mom and I also got to tour the "lodge". This is where the Pioneer Woman films all of her shows and lived here when she first got married. They redid the lodge in 2008 so she could film her tv show there! They host free tours to the lodge on certain days. It was about 20 miles out in the country.

The front of the lodge!

Where all the magic happens!

Drummond Ranch Cows!

Mom and I had a great last minute trip to Pawhuska, OK. We are already planning our next trip there so we can stay in her boarding house!

I'm Allison. I am currently a 20 something year old that loves to travel and talk. Everyone always says that I have the best stories so I figured I might as well write them down.  I'm from a small town, but I love the big city!
